Ever since I founded 1-Habit Nutrition in August 2014, I’ve always made sure that as the company grows, our followers will have first hand over what’s going on with us. Apart from seeing changes from our clients on a day to day basis, as a young company, we are blessed to go through changes in the business every single day.
As a founder, nothing is prouder to me than to see us grow. Since we kicked off our very first Coaching group early 2015, 1-Habit Nutrition has helped over hundreds of Singaporeans change their lifestyle sustainably through our 1-Habit Nutrition Coaching Program. One of the fundamentals of the program is to educate and guide these individuals on how to make great food choices, while developing a healthy relationship with food.
In fact, some of the things that makes what we do at 1-Habit Nutrition different are:
- We don’t advocate restriction (e.g. no sugars, no carbs, no meals after 8pm etc.) nor do we advocate calorie counting. There’s tons of diets out there that you probably have tried, being with us means you stop all that dieting and finally work with someone to get results.
- We don’t care where you’ve been or what diets you have tried in the past as long as you come in with an open mind.
- We give you freedom to choose what you like to do, what you like to eat, at the same time, guiding you on what is best for your body.
- We’re based online, which means no matter where you are in this world, as long as you have access to the Internet, you can be on your way to lifelong changes.
- Most importantly, we let you be… You. We’ll celebrate your triumphs, we’ll walk through your failures with you and we see you through some massive achievements through the days and months.
Many people ask me why are our programs a year long. Our answer is simple — Change takes time, sustainability takes forever.
It requires some failures that may extend for a couple of weeks before you find the strength to stand up again and restart on a clean slate. It requires some tender loving nurturing so you can find the huge reason on why you are awesome. It also requires more than just a 12-week program, or a meal plan of 6 meals a day.
I know, it’s probably better for business for us (faster results, faster success stories and more clients) to just provide a 12-week program and then charge $100 a pop, but it’s better for our purpose to be with our clients through the year, guide them through birthdays, anniversaries and other major life events and then celebrate their achievements at the end of it.
Today, I’m excited to announce that, after coaching and mentoring a bunch of awesome individuals by myself for a good year and a half, we’ve just expanded by one more Coach. Today, I want to formally welcome Noreis Razman to our team, as your Coach.
I gotta admit, when I realise early this year that I can’t do this single handedly anymore, I knew I needed someone whom I can trust with my clients. Someone who has the same passion and interest in helping people on a large scale as me. And someone who is empathetic, caring and of course, knowledgable.
Fortunately for me, I have a brother who has been in the fitness industry longer than I have. As a qualified paramedic and an Exercise Specialist in the midst of completing his Precision Nutrition studies, I knew he is the one who can coach, guide and mentor our growing client base. And what a refreshing addition as a male coach, no?
Our vision is to help as many Singaporeans as possible get rid of the ‘dieting’ mindset and start to truly learn how to eat, move and live healthier, one good habit at a time. With Noreis and I on the Coaching team, we can do this and more on a larger scale, getting you closer to the best shape of your life, and us to our dream of reaching out to as many people as possible.
